Post Office Pit- panoramic enhanced view - Great Massingham Photograph

Post Office Pit- panoramic enhanced view

(Post Office Pit / Great Massingham, Norfolk)

This is a combination of two postcards. You can see the join in the middle, but the wind got up and rippled the water.
The New Inn has its sign hanging off the corner. Note the little girl down below. Nice old road sign, don't know if the priority had changed as you can't see the sign.
The three cottages have nice front gardens, note middle doorway has had some brickwork done.
The shop appears to be Cottis. Note ornamental railings on top of the shop front. These were removed to The Retreat by Dick Leverett. They ended up in the shed of Steve Batson.
Note the car outside Yew Tree Cottage, looks like a Napier 15HP 1911.
Pleasant view past The Well, horse, chicken etc
Outside The Swan is a horse and cart with a great load of straw or hay. Very tall chimney pot on Osterville. Short flag pole on church.
